Students' Favorite Parts of CKLA

Last year, Amplify's CKLA team visited Alvina Elementary School in California, now in its second year of implementing CKLA.
Fourth-grade students were in the middle of CKLA's Eureka! Student Inventor, a zany game show unit where students learn from inventors like Jacques Cousteau and Hedy Lamarr and practice pitching their own inventions.
In Grade 1, students were discussing the Inca, Maya, and Aztec civilizations in CKLA's Early American Civilizations domain.
We asked some first- and fourth-graders to describe their Language Arts class. What are their favorite parts of CKLA? What topics do they love? See what they said!
